Section IV State Qualifier

Ty Cobb Stadium, Union Endicott

Capping off our amazing 2023 Season, our Girls 4 by 8 Team of Mari Pourby, Kathryn White, Kendall Little, and Grace Harkness, earned first team all Section Honors by finishing third overall in their event on a beautiful night at Endicott’s Ty Cobb Stadium.  Our Boys 4 by 8 Team of Nate Raab, Zephen Thompkins, Connor Little, and Liam Wood made second team All Section in the same event. 

Lauren Paske also finished second team All Section in the Shot Put, while her older brother Walker Paske earned second team All Section in the same event.  Other Top Ten Finishers were Grace Harkness in the 800 Meter Run and Nate Raab in the 400 Meter Dash.  Nate’s time of 52.44 now places him as our 6th fastest 400-runner in School History.

Lauren Paske’s put of 34’4” now places her second All Time in School history in the Shot Put.  This throw beat her PR from last week by nearly THREE FEET! Earlier this year, she also became the second furthest Discus thrower Chenango Forks has ever had the pleasure to call their own.  Only Hall of Famer, and 1999 graduate Julie Cruty, is placed higher in each event.
